finasteride/dutasteride users: stories of sides after 1 or 2 years scare u?

There seem to be a lot of people who have been on finasteride or dutasteride for less than a year and are happy with the results or aren't experiencing any negative effects, and therefore claim that it's perfectly harmless, at least to them. But more often than not I'll see someone post who they were enjoying success with finasteride or dutasteride for 18 or 24 months and all of a sudden they experienced side effects that practically forced them off the drug. The worst part about this has got to be losing all the hair you spent so many months gaining with the drug. Does anyone who's currently using finasteride/dutasteride with success get worried about this? Are there any statistics on people who don't experience side effects until well after you'd assume the sides would show up?

id cross that bridge when i came to it i suppose. its the same as worrying whether it will stop working after a while but its still the best treatment so im
prepared to give it a go.

you really seem in two minds about dutasteride - howcome youre not considering finasteride
first have you tried it already?

From what I've seen on forums and studies, people don't seem to be any more successful or any less prone to side effects on finasteride than on dutasteride, and since dutasteride is more powerful, I just figured I'd start off with that. Either way I suppose I'm risking limp-dick and b**ch tits.
