There seem to be a lot of people who have been on finasteride or dutasteride for less than a year and are happy with the results or aren't experiencing any negative effects, and therefore claim that it's perfectly harmless, at least to them. But more often than not I'll see someone post who they were enjoying success with finasteride or dutasteride for 18 or 24 months and all of a sudden they experienced side effects that practically forced them off the drug. The worst part about this has got to be losing all the hair you spent so many months gaining with the drug. Does anyone who's currently using finasteride/dutasteride with success get worried about this? Are there any statistics on people who don't experience side effects until well after you'd assume the sides would show up?
