I am using 2.5 mg of cheap generic finasteride 3 times a week, dutasteride 0.5 2 times a week and 50 mg of oral spironolactone every day (recently switched from 100mg). Now my libido is completely destroyed, and that's a good sign for me. I don't think about sex at all. Before treatment, at least last 2 years, my sex desire was very strong, although I am not a chronic fapper at all (3-4 times a month is enough for me) and I always was tired and had a horrible brain fog. By this day I feel like all those symptoms are now gone. I have more energy and it's awesome.
Spironolactone also killed my sebum prodaction, I don't remeber the day when my skin was in such a good state.
Btw there is nothing to report hairwise. I will add phytoestrogens to my diet soon to stimulate hair follicles for growth. I doubt that finasteride and dutasteride alone will regrow my lost hairs and I have no time to wait.
Anyone else experience elevated levels of energy and low libido being on finasteride/dutasteride? How long it will last?
