finasteride Doses

Could constantly changing the dose and frequency of doses cause my body to have a harder time adapting to finasteride? I sometimes take days off when it gets to rough, and I just use topical spironolactone and minoxidil on those days. It's been a few days since my last dose. Also, I have been cutting fincar up pretty small, so it's hard to get an exact amount every time. Not sure what to do.
