Androgens are needed for bone density, but they don't know if testosterone or DHT is responsible for it. If it is DHT must be from 5ar1, since psuedohermaphrodites, who lack 5ar2, have the same density we do.

That still does not answer my question about dutasteride though.

BTW, I've been looking at other studies, and androgens have effects on every type of cell in the body. It is just a question of how much is ideal, and whether testosterone or DHT is responsible.

Good stuff CCS!! I like to know as much as possible about affect this drug has on the body. Most of us take it on this site so there is no point pretending its fine. I would rather know what its doing and take measures to counteract the affect the drug is having on us if possible.

Hopefully the results you find will be good, and the drug isn't having any serious affects on us in the long term.
