finasteride and RU can it be enough ?

I have been on Finasteride for almost 9 months and only took 9 days off within those months. Been on RU for about a month and two weeks, now I feel my hairline has gotten weaker and as a diffuse thinner it's making my overall hair appearance terrible. I quit minoxidil now for about a month and a week, should I still be able to see progress since I'm still on Finasteride (getting closer and closer to the one year mark ) and RU 5% or since quitting minoxidil I pretty much screwed myself ? What are your thoughts ?

Why did you quit minoxidil? In theory, if you're having positive results from finasteride, then with RU, you're covering all angles. It's a good idea... in theory. The shedding could be a good sign. Remember that the follicle needs to restart the cycle in order to grow a stronger fiber. This involves release of the hair. I personally believe that every regimen should have minoxidil, unless you're a non responder to it.

Yeah man I used it for 10 months but it destroyed my scalp gave me Serb derm and an itch that did not leave for 5 months. All in all though my hair hasn't gotten better since those ten months so I doubt minoxidil was doing anything.
