If your density is around 50 FU per Cm2 or about half original density then your hair will look situationally good or bad, mostly depending on lighting. This is what causes the emotional roller coaster imo.
I've learned by now which mirrors I want to look at and which I don't, and what lighting types and angles I'll look good, and what ones will suck. Grey dull days, natural lighting and mornings are ok. Standing or sitting g under a bright light and clear blue sky sunny days are less forgiving
