I'm still not sure about getting on finasteride since I don't know if I have been receding at snail pace for 6 years or if I have been slowly developing a mature hairline. I'm 27
My right side has always been a bit higher and the left bit, 1 cm of hair from the front seems to have thinned slowly over 5 years (lots of light hairs that don't grow long).
Anyway, I kinda want to get on finasteride just to put my mind to rest. I have a big forehead and don't want to either recede OR develop a mature hairline, since it's high enough naturally. Some people pull it off, I won't.
So does finasteride stop a mature hairline developing? Or is this caused by something finasteride can't stop?
