Finasteride and genetic

Hello eveybody. I just have 2 questions.

First, I was just wondering if my father took finasteride for 1 hair, and he said that he say the decrease of hair loss, those that mean that their is a good chance it will work form me ?

Secondo, if he didn't suffer from erection lost and other side effect, does that mean I have good chance to don't have it either ?

BTW i'm 25, NW2, I want to start finasteride on Monday, but i'm affraid of side effect !

maybe, don't be afraid of sides, they are only temporary and only a small fraction get them

I dont know if your dads response to finasteride will give any indication of yours but as zzzz said try not to think of sides, despite what you may read the fact is they really are rare and finasteride is still the most effective proven treatment that we have.

You should do some bloodwork to get a baseline. Some users believe that those who starts off with lower than normal amounts of DHT levels using finasteride will induce side effects. Not sure how much study have been done on this matter but it's worth looking into. Also, those who are prone to depression are also very likely to experience side effects. Whether it's because of physiological aspect (your body chemistry) or whether it's your psychological effect.

Oh damn, I'm quite prone to depression, I was diagnosed with OCD ! Should I still try it, and what about the PFS ?
