Good news ya winey bastards. I must be doing something right because this fairly new regimen is doing what finasteride/min could not and the vellus is getting a little thicker so they can now be seen as shiny blonde looking hairs on my hairline which has been gone for ten years. This is not by no means a miracle cure or anything but I'm certainly happy to see SOME slick spots fuzzy. I noticed some more extremely fine small hairs filling in between the vellus hairs.

"5% min/1% atp/1%magnesium/1%melatonin/1%ALA/flut 20mg/.5 dutasteride/ Pamabrom solution(two days on two days off while applying nizoral cream)...once a week retinoic acid cream... and hgh sprayed on scalp daily... I'm not f****cking around' ...... Quote

Congrats... good ot hear some good news, especially regrowth in old areas of hairloss :) .... Could you discribe what you are doing, as its a little unusual? ... How are some of these actually obtained and mixed (atp, mg, melatonin, ala)? How long dutasteride. And, have you seen topical HGH recommended for hair loss elsewhere, or is this an inspired experiment?

Thanks

I'm impressed at how tolerable your scalp is to minoxidil. I noticed you use twice a day. I can hardly use one app a day because the sh*t causes so much skin pealing. Anyway, its one app a day for me. The dutasteride is actually only two capsules so it happens to be alot less than 1% . I forgot to update my regimen but I just this week added 60mg phenytoin to my 2oz. bottles of min. The rest is adenosine pills (atp) melatonin pills from walmart and pamabrom is a water pill capsule in which I add four of to each bottle. Also, one cap of alpha lipoic acid, one cap of edta which isn't listed. Sounds like alot of solids added but it all disolves good anyway. Its a bit costly but its what my thin head needs. A borage of hair influencing chems. Also, I use regular mouth spray hgh from schwart labs. It absorbes well and leave a healthy stimulating tingle.

I like the Idea of adding additional products to minoxidil as I dont trust any one product either and, until we know more, I believe more may be better (until proven otherwise). I need to read more about ALA, edta and topical dilantin and its mechanism (and studies) as this DIY approach may be a more affordable way to add some strength to the current meds. Dr. Proctor's products may be an easy way to do something similar to what you are doing, but I just added up the yearly cost of my meds and dont really have the enthusiasm to send more money to hairloss Doctor's. I am contributing plenty toward Dr. Lee's retirement fund right now, that should be enough.

I'm under the impression that our dht effected vellus hairs have a CRITICAL THRESHHOLD. Dht effected vellus hairs are very stuborn and would very much like to stay small but these products used individually weaken thier determined state of microsize. There are plenty of herbal approaches on the market in which a borage of small amounts of many herbs are added but herbs have thier limitations. So I'm challenging the same idea of applying the same concept but with meds in an attempt to bring the vellus hairs determined state to a stop. If vellus hairs could talk they would say "Alright mother f****r I'll start working already" :p . Breaching the critical threshhold means approaching the problem from all directions of possable hairloss. Inflammation, lack of nutrients, blood flow, dht, testosterone levels, hydration issues. As for testosterone I'm under the impression that vellus hairs not only require the absence of dht but require low levels of test and a raise in estrogen levels; this is why flut is used in small doses. Its my opinion that topical dutasteride/flut combo is many times better than finasteride alone but require carefull application regardless. The hgh is self explaining. I'm really surprised at the lack of research or interest in hgh for hairloss because I feel its just as effective or better than copper peptides. Thats just my opinion.

Well I hope you're right because I'm doing the same basic thing! Except no flutamide!!

I think the HGH thing doesn't get much attention because, many people think, it can only help if given by injections (which is supposedly VERY expensive). I've read that it isn't metabolized well if taken orally. Don't know if all this is really true, but that's what I've read more than once.
