I have been on these forums for years and this is my first post. I am 29 and my hair is thinning to the point where I can't wait any longer. I want to take action. I ordered a 6 month supply of kirkland minoxidil off ebay. I am not against proscar but am holding off that for a bit. If I do decide to add that I would appreciate info on how to order it. I am using nioxin shampoo. Some people swear by this. I don't think it does anything for hairloss but is is good for the hair. If anyone has any advice to help me get started and what to expect I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks. Oh I guess I should mention I think I am a diffusse thinner

Your best bet is to start off with the Big 2, and supplement if you want from there. Propecia/proscar are only available by prescription. Those are the only two with significant, government approved hair loss benefits. Everything else's success is mostly anecdotal, but you'll find a healthy majority of people here that support some supplements more than others (Nizoral, Copper Peptides, etc.). If I were in your shoes, I would get on Propecia immediately, because the earlier you address your hairloss, the more chance of success you have in combatting it successfully.

If you're not getting results with the Big 2, then check my Regimen button to see what else you can consider adding to your routine. I've been and tried just about everything. Good luck!

I wouldn't waste my money on Nioxin. It does nothing for male pattern baldness other than making your already existing hair grow at a really fast rate.
