Fellows I am sure you guys have seen the Bosley informercial, and was wondering does hair trasplants really work as well as they claim. If they dont than whats the reason. It seems you hear more about horror stories than success stories. Woman have breast implants, nose jobs, lipo suction, etc all the time. These things have became so common no telling how many are done each day. It seems as a balding (depressed) male we have nothing, but "well maybe this solution will work, but probably not". Im on Finpecia, but already looking into Surgical Alternatives because I know thats what its going to come down to. As for someone who doesnt even want to leave the house because of my hair loss, I have to do something. I know its just hair, but Jesus can we get a break.

No there is really nothing you can do, as there is no cure for hairloss. Hair transplants are not really that good as they should not be used in a young male. Hair transplants are typically indicated when your hairloss has stabilized for a long period and you are older. Basically, it is best to do a hair transplant when your balding has progressed quite far. Even then, the density of your hair will never be what it used to be ie people will know that you have "thinning" hair even with the transplant.
