Few Question For You Guys (21 Years Old)

Hello friends, a few question for you :

I'm 21

1. Minoxidil effective for the temples ?
My hairline start receded in the last 2-3 years but if I put flashlight on my hairline I can see a tiny baby colorless hair, minoxidil could help me with them or I have to add propecia ?
meanwhile I'm using Derma Roller 1.5 mm on those hairs for the last 4-5 monta but dont see results yet.

2. There acutally any chance to regrow/maintain hair withoit finastride ?
I know that most of the users here won't agree with it, but any of you ever heard on situation when someone maintain his hair for few years without finastride?

3. My hairline receded a little bit in the last 3 years but not in a level that someone could tell im balding (unless he norword spotter). the rest of my hair is pretty thick and dont have balding signs, there any chance that it will stop and wont keep going ?
also my father have also temples but he still have most of his hair at the age of 50 and it dont look like it going anywhere.

Could just be a mature hairline if you say it's thick everywhere else. minoxidil is a growth stimulant, finasteride is meant to prevent further loss. You could regrow some hair with just minoxidil but DHT will keep attacking the follicles.

If hair is thick everywhere and ur dad has decent hair in his 50s then its probably best to avoid any meds, get off this website, and enjoy life. Hairline changes are normal with age.
