http://theturekclinic.com/finasteride-propecia-male-infertility-sexual-dysfunction/
The article explains that fertility isn't an FDA standard, and that past 3 months the FDA doesn't need to test fertility.
In rabbits fertility became significantly impaired with continued use of finasteride.
It's hard to say who among us might have low sperm counts. If you are a man with low sperm counts it is possible that finasteride will make you infertile while on the drug. It is recommended to quit for 6 months before trying to conceive.
Like the other side effects, infertility relates to a minority of men taking the drug, and so you likely don't need to worry about it. I don't think there has been any reports of permanent infertility from the drug. Seems men recover once they quit.
It sucks that the only way to cure hair loss is by altering your hormones. My seminal vesicles and preservation of my manhood is more important to me than my hair.
Other notes:
What women want:

Note that penis is number 9, and its more important for functionality than aesthetics.
#7 is hair, yes they prefer it but its not on their priorities for what they want.
When it comes to other things considered about men...

Looks are #9, again not a priority
However, balding man's confidence are usually impaired which gives them less luck with women.
Don't let Norwood 1 douchebags have an effect on your confidence.
I wish there was something that would help us solve the balding mystery.
I also wish seasonal allergies had a cure. Anyone else suffer from these as well?
