So I found this really interesting...
I have been buzzing my head for about 8 months now, and grew facial hair also (standard bald guy move). One month, I decided to shave my facial hair because I thought it was looking trashy. It was strange, because when I did this, nobody said 'oh you shaved' but a lot of people said 'did you get a hair cut?' It was as if my baldness really stood out more when I shaved. I never really thought it had such a big affect, but I guess the whole framing of the face thing really is true. I saw pictures of myself without the facial hair and even I noticed I looked balder.
So I grew that trashy beard back as soon as I could! I can pull it off now, as I am 25 and am working in a manufacturing plant doing Finance. However, I am moving back to a position in the Corporate office pretty soon, so I think I am going to have to bite the bullet and shave it off.
