I haven't posted in awhile but I took oral finasteride for about 13-14 months and finally have had to taper off of it due to side effects. I've been using topical spironolactone now, but I prefer the liquid to the cream version. It just seems to work better for me and it's easier to apply all over my head with a dropper.
I've read up on topical finasteride and I want to try it. Ideally I want to use a liquid or oil that I can put in a dropper. I use the foam minoxidil so putting it in there isn't an option. Also, I don't have the best reactions to liquids with a lot of alcohol in them, so preferably I don't want to use alcohol.
Any recommendations for a liquid or oil that can be bought at a place like Walgreens, that doesn't have a strong alcohol base, and can be used as part of a topical with finasteride?
