Extensive Oily Scalp - How To Stop It?

Today I have decided that after I come back from holidays I start some "safe" treatment for my alopecia as it's the last time I can maintain reasonable level of hair amount on my head before I hit the moment the fight is not worth all that effort (and money). I don't want to take any pills like Propecia as even without it I tend to have some problems with maintaining the erection ..so I don't want to deepen this issue ..

The first symptoms of hair loss was noticed by me in 2006 (22 years old then). At that time I was already in a phase where I had to wash my hair every day due to extensive sebum discharge, in particular on my scalp (I had some major issues with acne between 16-25 years old). The thinner my hair became the more problematic the oily hair was to me and ....as you can imagine the oily hair stick to each other making it look even thinner and the "balder" areas were more exposed. In 2007 I took Isotretinoin for 3-4 months as an anti-acne treatment, it helped a little , it made my face skin less oily (for the next 1-2 years) but at the same time it caused some other issues with my skin (e.g. more sensitive and very susceptible to redness/irritation). Anyway ... now I am 33 years old and the top of my head is noticebly affected by alopecia - althought it's not a tradig/hopeless situation on there, you can clearly see my scalp through the hair in the daylight (outside) or when there is a heavy light shining above my head. There is also a visible difference in terms of hair thickness between middle/main part of my hair (top) and my hair at the back and sides - in particular when standing under a strong ray of light. A year or two ago it was not so visible as currently it is. Anyway ...it's about time for me to actually do something. I have had periods of using some soft topical things, mostly shampoos. But..my main problem (apart from alopecia) is that oily hair/scalp...which affects/triggers or even causes the alopecia in my case - I believe. I don't want to write how much it disturbs in life ..as it would take too long ...(problem when you are staying overnight somewhere, problem in the mornings when u want to look good after a romantic night..YOU HAVE TO WASH your hair asap otherwise your alopecia is exposed and u look like you haven't washed the hair for weeks, I can't wear any hats... etc.. )

Do you know any methods, in particular for "external" use like shampoos or special liquids? I thought about applying some Tretinoin every few days but a) I would need to shave my hair to allow more efficient application b) i would need to mix it with some other liquid ingredient otherwise it can burn my skin and hair c) give it up during peak summer months

The other thing is - apart from Rogaine ..what would you advice for follicle revitalization (something that penetrates the skin in-deepthly)

p.s English is not my native language so forgive any mistakes or bad language ;-)
