I am looking for people who have gone off Propecia and are willing to share the details of the experience. I have been on for 11 years and am considering going off as side effects have gotten somewhat worse (lower libido, no morning/spontaneous erections). Hair is not the priority that it once was.
Normally, I'd simply quit but I am concerned having read some of the horror stories on propeciahelp where side effects get worse after quitting. However, I understand that's a very small universe of users.
I'd love to hear your story if you've quit Propecia. Did you taper off? How did your body change (libido, hair, mental state, energy, etc)? Did anything change weeks/months after quitting or were most changes immediate? Were all side effects permanently reversed?
