Everyone was a nw1/2 except for one guy.

Today I went into the city and it was very crowded. I couldn't help but notice that all the guys in their teens and twenties were either nw1 or nw2. There was just one bald guy I saw, he had a gf though. Every time I go to crowded places I see this so either the percentage of guys balding in their teens or twenties is very low or the baldies and sufferers don't leave there houses. This is depressing...

I really want the cure :sobbing:

Imagine how lonely it feels being the one lone girl who is balding though... even rarer (much rarer) than young balding guys. Still sucks for you though.

Never move to Asia. If you see anybody more than an NW1 under 30, they're probably white.

Going bald when you're only in your teens is plain crippling. I've been going bald since I was 16 years of age and currently my hair is in its worse shape. I can live my life normally and be happy as usual, though I need to admit, my male pattern baldness drives me completely insane sometimes. I am thinning in a Norwood 6 pattern and I also suffer from retrograde alopecia, which is thinning behind the ears and on the nape. It also drives me insane to only be in my early twenty's and have the hair of an old man, and I'm also suffering from premature greying.

Guys like you and I who start balding in their early/mid teens tend to have the genetics super aggressive. I've been fighting hard against my male pattern baldness and for the first time at this point, I am starting to come to the conclusion that I don't think I can beat my hair loss, my genetics are just too strong. The best current treatments are just too weak for us. There needs to be a cure, treatments are not optimal. And why are treatments not optimal? Because treatments don't work well for everyone, they don't fully restore hair, and they can actually cause serious side effects. Again, there needs to be a cure. Living with inflammation, irritation, and itching of my scalp every single day along with watching my hair deteriorate is no good quality of life at all.

I was going to ask you how you were doing. I was under the impression that you were seeing some positive results from your aggressive regimen. Sorry if things are not going well.

Asians just have those low NW0 and thick mops, like 5% of asians are balding

Yeah dude it is very rare for an asian to be bald. Some of the women actually have so much hair that they have some of it ripped out by the stylist. I know this sounds like BS, but it is the truth.

I dont think topical spironolactone works all that great to be honest. I tried it for a while and use it pretty religiously and it didnt do much of anything for me except make my hair look wet and oily all the time. My hair loss is pretty slow and gradual too. Not to say it couldnt work for others just didnt for me.
