It's going to be such a disaster. At first he'll be excited about it, but over time he will find that it will isolate him further from intimacy. For someone who constantly second guesses himself about the feedback he gets from girls (does she like me?... why didn't she like me?... she seemed like she liked me but didnt call?... did I say something wrong?... etc) this is only going to add exponentially to his psychosis with women.

I disagree.

I think that this wig is the chance for CCS to drop the rest of his hair concerns temporarily. I mean, he's got transplants and is unhappy with them. They're not natural-looking.

A wig can easily help him overcome the anxiety of someone noticing those plugs. IMO, plugs are more unsightly than a wig. Now that's he's done all of this research on the right wig (and there are good options available now), he will benefit of having a quality wig.

Agreed. The man has done his homework. Once he begins wearing his piece (assuming it looks good) he may in fact find more girls paying attention to him. And once he begins to feel as if he is no longer 'invisible', he may even begin to spend more and more of his time talking to new people, hanging out more with his existing friends, etc.... instead of squandering it all on the internet by posting thousands of times on sites like this.

In fact, a good piece may very likely be the catalyst which starts the progressive series of changes that he'll need to make if he ever wants to become comfortable with himself, or allow himself to stop ruining his own life by creating so many pointless fears and inhibitions.

Just look at all of the documented cases of people who have undergone a completely minor cosmetic surgery (like a hair transplant) and then went on to completely change their lives for the better. Or even look the people who got great results from hairloss drugs...
