Everyday things that might be causing your hairs to pull out, without you realizing?

So I've only been a visitor here for a couple weeks or so.

But being on here and reading some of the posts has made me wonder about this:

Is it possible that we do things to/with our hair, every day, that we don't realize are actually causing our hairs to pull out? And that maybe, this might contribute to what is experienced as hair loss?

In particular, I wonder about diffuse pattern loss and female pattern loss, as opposed to male pattern receding.

I know that a lot of people will tell you, this has nothing to do with long-term, permanent-type baldness.

But still, common sense tells me that, if you damage the follicle deep down, from repeated stress on the folicle, maybe the hair could be gone for good (?).

Again, I am talking about diffuse and female pattern hair loss.

Some of the things I wonder about:

1. Shampooing. Geez - I've even watched videos recently on "how to properly shampoo" - and it is crazy to me how vigorously some people rub when they shampoo. Can't be good...

2. Pulling shirts over our heads when we get dressed or undressed. This is a big one for me - I know because I can think of what a strain it puts on my hair when I do this, especially the type of hair pulling when the shirt fits somehat tightly over the head - like a tee shirt or sweatshirt.

3. Brushing. I think you can definitely pull out tons of hairs that probably had months or even years of life before they otherwise would probably have fallen out due to the natural hair growth cycle.

nah it doesnt work like that. If every hair that felt were prefectly sized hairs, but they are mostly miniaturized ant its not hard to notice on how shorter they are in comparasion with most hairs on your head. Thats the evidence on male pattern baldness.

It's called having **** genetics, and being predisposed to Androgenetic Alopecia.
