I have seen small anecdotal evidence of them having a minor effect such as "oh I think i see new little hairs popping up" or "my hair looks thicker" But have never seen any evidence of the type of results you typically see with minoxidil or finasteride.

I tried both, dermaheal for only 2 weeks and fluridil for two months.

The thing with fluridil is that it was impossible to know if it was doing its job because they claim the ingredient breaks down when it comes in contact with water.

So what about when you sweat? or the water in your scalp walls. And also what happens if you get your hair wet? I never knew if was active in my scalp for a sufficient enough time.

Also they only have 1 study for hairloss and it was an independent study by the makers of the product.

But there was one study they used fluridil for females with hiritusm?? (is that how it is spelled)....they applied to parts of theiir face or legs and it effectively reduced hair in those areas in which it was applied. They also had pictures to back it up. But i dont really know how well it translates to fighting hairloss. They do have a couple of o.k. pictures up on their site though...

Also i have heard of people who have used eucapil for up to a year and at BEST they maintaned. So it may work.

But i dont use it because it is a crapshoot and i dont have time to play around with my hair.

I'll let you know in 6-9 months if I think I've had any regrowth/thickining from Eucapil/Fluridil. It has certainly reduced the shedding.

As for application, I apply it an hour or so before bedtime. It absorbs pretty quickly.
