Can anyone recommend a good brand or website for an emu oil and aloe product?

http://www.uniquelyemu.com/haircare.htm for emu oil and other interesting emu products. They delivered to me in 2 days. All I got was their emu oil though.

I don't really use aloe products - so I don't have a good source for any. But all of the major stores carry 100% pure aloe vera gel which I rubbed on my scalp all summer.

I just bought from them. It took a week to get to me, but everything was in good order. The emu oil helps quite a bit with itch.

twenty bucks seems a bit pricey for a measly 4.5 oz bottle. how long does such a bottle last, and how often should i use it?

By all means - you should shop around and try and get the best price. Make certain to only get the pure emu oil though - and I've heard that some brands are better than others. This brand seems pretty kosher.

I sprung for the 2 oz. $12 bottle.

It's my first bottle so I can't give you an accurate lasting time - but using 4 tiny drops daily - I'll probably get a few months' worth out of 1 bottle easy.

Nothing's cheap.

4 drops daily? do you mix it with your shampoo or something.

No - it's oil - so a little teeney weeney bit goes a long way.

I place the smallest drop I can squeeze out of the bottle on each of 4 extended fingers, dab the stuff around my scalp - and then work in.

I'm going to get some.

I hope it will help with my itch!

Head & Shoulders use for the past 2 days seems to be helping :)

What do you all think about Fruit of the Earth's 100% Aloe Vera gel? They sell it for about $3 or $4 at the drug store...

Thanks, I wasn't sure if it was the same item or not. Anyway I would just pick it up at the store if I were you so you don't have to pay for shipping.

As long as it says "100% Pure Aloe Vera Gel" its a safe bet. Don't expect the stuff to regrow all your hair - but it's great for scalp health. I'll probably go back to applying every night this summer once I'm back in the sun and the pool on a regular basis :)

I bought some of that aloe gel the other day at Target. Exact brand and everything, but it was in a bottle twice the size, and only $1.99.

I remember the bottle saying you can use it for shave gel, hair gel, etc. Let me know how it works as hair gel works, misterium.

I rub some into my face every now and then after shaving or after getting some wind burn. Really is pretty versatile stuff.

I bought Fruit of the Earth 100% Aloe gel yesterday and I've been going heavy on it in my hair and soaking it into my scalp, then styling with it.

It seems to be soothing.

I hope it helps kill off my itchy crown.. .this sh*t is getting me really upset and I'm at the point where I may go see a doctor.
