embarrassed to visit the family doctor......

I know this is a probably a stupid question, but can you go to any walk-in clinic to get a prescription for propecia/proscar?..... my family doctor is a very close friend w/ my father and i don't want anyone in my family to know i'm doing this (embarrassment)...... i'd also prefer not to buy online from a over-seas country.......

and one other question, would anyone happen to know how much propecia and proscar cost up here in Canada?

I would imagine that any doctor licensed to dispense meds in Canada will do. He may not necessarily grant your request if he doesn't agree with your prognosis, so make sure you go well prepared with information to help convince him.
