This is the email i got from a doctor while doing enquiries:

We have seen patients who have got the so called FM performed and found NO evidence whatsoever of donor regeneration that is supposed to be the key to FM.
I do not beleive FM to be a genuine thing. At the best its a form of fue- no multiplication occurs.
And the surgical intervention is same as that for most forms of fue.
