Have someone had checked his Prolactin levels? When I have been pretty ill (still little bit), doctor made some blood tests to check my hormones. My Prolactin levels were pretty above average. It was time when I first noticed there could be some problem with my hair. During few month, my overall hair density was very low overally, even on sides ( butnot too much as on the crown).
Last blood test showed Prolactin in average level and I think that my hair density changed pretty, because I am not able to see any scalp at crown and I could even style it after few month. I think it is getting better and not just because of hair getting longer, but simply even on sun I can not see scalp but before I could see my scalp from every angle. It is not as before but I have noticed this changes in last two/three weeks. Also, my hair stop falling out suddenly in those past two/three weeks - I can imagine density but this is simple fact. I could be continuing Telogen Effluvium I guess but I am not sure.
Elevated prolactin is very associated with hair loss according to many studies, it can be cause by bad health or bad condition of your body or diet somehow. Prolactin can cause Follicle regression.
