Howdy,

I recently read on a website about hair loss which states that if a male losses hair early in life, around 20 years of age, it's more likely that this person not will go completely bald later in life.

Can anyone please explain in detail the thruth :freaked:

I guess they mean some kind of early male pattern baldness that over time will spare some of the follicles on top...

I dont like to be the bearer of bad news but I think perhaps the complete opposite is actually true. Nearly all medical reports and analyses I have read say that the earlier a person starts to lose his hair, the more aggressive it is, and the more likely it is that he will reach the severe stages ie stage 7 more quickly.

I don't think there's any general rule.

My flatmate started receding when he was 16, and stopped when he was 18. He has been a solid NW2 for about 10 years now, with a full head of thick hair.

Thats not m.p.b its just recession to a mature hairline. Happens to many people in their late teens/early twenties.
Most panic that they are going bald, probably quite a few of them on here.

I agree. Most don't factor in that the shape of their head may have changed.

Yep, this is what I have observed, ask most NW6/7's and they'll tell you that they started early. I myself am an example of this started at 19 nw6 by 28/29.
