Early balding

Does early balding always mean it's going to be aggressive? I have no idea when I started, but I'm 23 now and my hairline is looking like ****. I compared it to my pictures 3 years ago, and it looks like my hairline moved up a quarter of an inch on each side of my hairline. I hear people balding saying they find like 5-6 hairs on their laptops and ****, but I never see much shedding. I only see about 2-3 hairs when I shower, if I style my hair with gel I still don't see much a shed. If I sit on my laptop for an hour or two I only see like one hair. How much shedding do you guys see?

Male Pattern Baldness has an unpredictive element attached to it. There's not certainty that early baldness means agressive baldness. However, it is often an indication that your hair loss is aggressive.

Shedding is not necessarily a sign of Male Pattern Baldness. On average humans shed between 100-200 hairs a day as a part of a natural cycle that all hairs grow in. On a more personal note, I certainly never shedded as much when I shower as I do now. But I guess as you start balding you become more aware of such things. Other factors contributing is the length of your hair; nobody will notice when they shed 0.5-1cm hairs compared to longer hairs.

Well my hair is fairly long so I figured I'd notice. One thing that sucks is me and my mom have the same exact hair and she sheds hair like crazy too, so sometimes I'll find a bunch of hairs and realize they aren't even mine. Really though I've been monitoring it for the past year and haven't noticed a really bad shed unless I have dandruff from the cold weather, that's the only time I see a shed. Even when I pull on my hair in the front I don't have any hair in my fingers or anything and I wear hats and look inside and don't see any hair.
