interested to know those of you on finasteride....if you have seen positive results, how long into treatment did you first spot good results?

im just over 1.5 months into treatment, hair loss has been reduced, loose very few hairs whilst applying minoxidil relative to before starting finasteride. fewer hairs on pillow, still quite a few on collar. no real signs of regrowth as yet. no sides, decrease in libido for first 3 or so weeks, now everything back to normal

i dont think iv seen a hair since starting treatment 17 days ago. but abit before that i wasnt shedding either.

its wierd. my hairs bout 1 cm long at mo, but long enuff to see hairs on my hand. i havnt seen one tho, i just want whatevers good to happen, please!

Hair cycles out only about 3 times per year. When male pattern baldness is progressing, hairs fall out and are replaced by progressively thinner hairs. If finasteride works for you, your hair will return in the opposite manner. You have to wait until your current thin hairs cycle out and are replaced by progressively thicker hairs.

With that said, my first sign of temple regrowth was at month 2. It's now month 4, and I have not seen improvement since then. I'll likely have to wait another 1-3 months before I notice any improvement again.

Well I'm at the 2 month mark and I swear I've almost completely stopped shedding. I was shedding so badly that I couldn't even count them anymore and now it's like it just stopped completely. I hope that it keeps up.

seems like were quite similar primex... we started at the same time and have about the same results... ive about completle stopped shedding and vertex and hairline has gotten thicker.... i m quite excited..

You know, it looks like my hair has gotten thicker too, but it could just be the happiness in my head making me think that I have more hair cause I know my hair doesn't grow back that quick. Maybe that MSM that I'm taking actually is working and I just haven't really gave it much props or something.
