Dutasteride vs. Finasteride

I am currently on 1.25mg of Finasteride ED, will I see any differences if I substitute dutasteride for it instead? Will I hold onto my hair longer or possibly see better regrowth? Will it completely kill off my sex drive?

how long have you been on if for?, you need alot of perseverance to get results
no doubt that dutasteride will be more effective but the side effects are also worse also dutasteride takes longer to pass out of your system meaning that the side effects will hang around longer if you ever decide to stop using dutasteride

That's the big question. We all know that dutasteride is more effective at reducing DHT than finasteride, but does that mean more hair? Is it worth the extra risk of serious side effects?

how long have you been on finasteride? you can still switch if you start losing your hair again.

Dutasteride is a more powerful drug, will reduce DHT alot more and potentially more hair growth. Unfortunately it is not FDA approved therefore taking it is more of a risk than finasteride.

It's FDA approved, just not for hairloss.
