I've been on finasteride and minoxidil for about 17 months with pretty good results, but I'd like a bit more temple regrowth (I know it's the hardest region to regrow)
Has anyone any experience in temple regrowth after switching from finasteride to dutasteride?
I'm not concerned about side effects.

you wont get anything significant by switching

by "pretty good results" I assume you have at least maintained
that is a success and I dont think you should jeopardise it by switching from a regimen that clearly works

dutasteride and finasteride are both maintenance pills, however dutasteride is far superior at halting hair loss, if you're maintaining on finasteride there's no reason to switch to dutasteride. Temples are almost impossible to regrow with medication. You can try using a higher strength minoxidil if you're not happy with 5%.

Dutasteride is supposed to be great for temple hair, keep in mind though that regrowing temple hair is difficult. I get very leery whenever someone states that they got temple hair regrowth, especially if they don't post before and after pics.

Yeah I've had significant maintenance and regrowth via finasteride and minoxidil. I don't expect or even need an NW1 hairline, but if I could just get a little bit more in the inner temple area I think it would make a big improvement.

I've heard people say that switching to dutasteride destroyed their hairline, but that makes no sense, there's no reason to expect that lowering your DHT even more would result in frontal hair loss. I would expect to at least have the same as I do now, and perhaps keep it longer as less DHT will be reaching my follicles. I'd like to try at least.

Anyone know any reputable online sellers?

I have about a NW2.25 hairline and I will be happy if Dutasteride will bring forward my recessed hairline, I've only been taking the medication for about a month now.

Dutasteride cannot destroy the hairline, the medicine is actually better for the hairline than Finasteride.

I actually use the branded version of Dutasteride named 'Avodart' to treat my male pattern baldness, and I got the prescription for it from my GP. Just talk to your doctor about the concern of your Androgenetic Alopecia, tell them what you know about the medication and what the possible side effects are, and they should prescribe it. That's what I did.

Can you expand upon this a bit please? I have purely frontal receding, above the temples, no diffuse thinning or loss at the crown. I've been taking finasteride for 3 months now and it's definitely made my hairline worse; I know for sure because I get that constant DHT itch/inflammation around my hairline in the affected areas when I never had any itching before finasteride (been receding for 2-3 years). I've read countless threads where people with only frontal receding react badly for finasteride, something to do with hairs at the front being super sensitive to testosterone.
