Dutasteride (Avodart) levels vs Finasteride (proscar) levels

I'm thinking about going back on Avodart (stopped due to minimal sides) but instead of doing 1 pill a day (.5mg) I would do 1 pill every other day to see if I can minimize the side affects.

So here's the question I can't seem to answer on my own/through research:

By taking .5mg of avodart every other day would I still be blocking more 5AR2 than taking 2.5mg of finasteride every day?

Obviously I would be blocking more 5AR1 with .5 avodart every other day since finasteride doesn't block it at all but I'm specifically curious about the 5AR2.

yes because your body Excretes much less dutasteride than finasteride meaning it bulids up in your system, your body would just about get rid of all your finasteride after 1 day but with dutasteride that takes about 4-5 months meanind you can take 1 every other day

Haven't you read the Glaxo study with finasteride and dutasteride, and seen the various graphs that are available? Only 0.1 mg/day of dutasteride has very nearly the same DHT suppression as 5 mg/day of finasteride.
