dutasteride and minoxidil good enought to turn thin colored miniaturized hair terminal?

3 months into my regimen I'm growing huge no of thin miniaturized hair on my hairline and only 5-7 hairs have thickened in the last 3 months. Does minoxidil only grow this fuzz or does it ever turn them into thick hair. These little sprouts are not vellus hair as they are colored and thick enough to see in the mirror without needing bright lighting. Anyone know how long it takes for them to turn terminal? Will they ever turn terminal?

It seems I have a few thick re-grown hair but they are shedding along with the very thin long hair(not hair mentioned above). Whats happening?

It depends on how much the hair follicles have miniaturized. I am on a regimen of Dutasteride and Minoxidil and have developed plenty of colored miniaturized hairs along my hair line which won't become terminal, it's been that way for months and still no changes. Those little hairs along the hairline is a sign telling treatment is working, and should not be expected for them to turn terminal. Paying attention to overall hair density is key, and see how much of your in total will thicken up.
