Dutasteride And Cancer, How To Lower The Risk

I have come across a few studies that suggest chronic Dutasteride use (which I have been on since 2013) leads to an increased risk of aggressive (read: hormone resistant) prostate cancer.

Intermittent fasting has been an interesting subject that's been on my mind, as the typical prostate cancer can't divide in a fasting environment. Using ketosis to kill any itinerant hormone resistant prostate cells that develop with Dutasteride seems reasonable to me.

Has anyone had similar thoughts in this direction?

What has Intermittent fasting to do with ketosis in the first place? For ketosis, you need to go on the keto diet. If you're doing it in an IF way or not, has nothing to do with ketosis. It just doesn't happen so fast.

Dutasteride lowers the overall risk of prostate cancer by around 22% and increases the risk of high-grade one for 0.5%. Does it really increase the risk? I don't know...

5ARIs seem to predominantly protect against Gleason 6 prostate cancer with minimal influence on Gleason 8–10 disease. This may represent inherently different biology between low and high-grade prostate cancer and potentially, a role for 5ARI treatment in active surveillance.
