Duprost Not As Effective as Avodart?

This worries me at first because I am taking Cipla's Duprost .5 Mg but when you think about it, Cipla and Dr. Reddy's are very good companies where their livelyhood is based on producing quality generic drugs. Their not going to risk billions of dollars because they can't keep their medicines at controlled temperatures or in prodcing them wrong in the engineering process.

Millions of people all over the world take all different type brand name drugs from lots of generic drug companies, but leave it up to a narcassistic hair loss sufferer taking an off lable prescription drug to worry about something as crazy as this.

You will hear about a mix up like this on world wide news if these companies didn't know what they were doing.

I've never used Avodart, but after 8 months on Duprost I HAD to drop it and go back to finasteride. The front of my hair thinned out incredibly after 8 months of Duprost after using finasteride for 6 years. It really upset me because finasteride had started to lose its effectiveness with me.

But how do you know it wasn't going to come back stronger? Just like finasteride., don't you have to give dutasteride. a year, if not, more? dutasteride. doesn't cause male pattern baldness, male pattern baldness causes male pattern baldness, no?

I don't know Harey, and you make a good point. All I DID know was that I could no longer hide my hairloss with a good haircut anymore. The thinning got so extreme that I was terrified it would only worsen and never recover unless I stopped the drug.

It was pretty scare stuff.

And how is your hair now, if finasteride. was losing its effectiveness?

This is all so depressing. I didn't think dutasteride. was a wonder drug, but I didn't think as many people would be non-responders as they apparently are. What's worse, it's not like it doesn't grow anything, it's that it drastically reduces hair counts it seems

My hair is still crap, but I only recently switched back to finasteride. Trust me, I'm as frustrated as you are. I would love to at LEAST maintain.

FYI, I am a frontal diffuse thinner.

What the f*** Admin leave my threads alone you shiester. I agree that this site is great for learning about treating hairloss but the only reason I am still here is because I have questions that I want the most amount of people to see so I post in the GENERAL section. But you keep moving them to places where they only get seen by about 10 people a day and you know this.

f*** this website you hipacrit!

Slanging products on this website is cool but not when it becomes more important to you than treating male pattern baldness!

So go ahead and kick me off cause I won't be back anyways.
