Dry hair after washing head from minoxidil?

Hello,
I started topical minoxidil couple of weeks ago, and since then my hair got very dry. I wash it a lot (with water, with shampoo EOD).
What do you suggest?

I only wash my hair three times a week with Keto shampoo . The other four days I only rinse with hot water .

That's worse - i don't use keto shampoo, nor hot water for they both promote dry hair.

I also have this problem. Currently, I'm testing SassAFrazz Quench Moisture Mist spray. I was lucky to find it when looking through kaleidoscope hair products review here. It adds shine and prevents dryness. The situation is better now than it used to be.

Use mild shampoos like Dove brand. At least that works for me
