Dr Wont Give Me Finasteride

I went to my Doctor and asked if I can have a prescription for finasteride but he said not as long as I'm on Olanzapine. What do i do?

I'm not familiar with that drug. What's the conflict there? If there seemingly isn't one, go to another doctor. Doctor hop until you can get it. It's worth it. But I stress that only under the assumption that finasteride doesn't react badly with whatever Olanzapine is.

Did you ask him why? It seems like there may be a drug interaction between the two? Why not use common sense and ask/research?
