Thanks to Hep C my Dr. says no way to finasteride and Min. So what if anything can I do for my hair loss?

Norwood 4 - ish.

Thanks in advance.

Why is that? I can understand why no finasteride but why no Min?

So your medical expertise tells you my Dr. doesn't know what's best for my liver condition? Have you seen my charts recently? Seriously, I appreciate any honest suggestions anyone can give me - but spare me the glib retorts. If there is nothing that will help I can live with that but unless you are a Dr. and want to look at my charts please don't try play Dr. - Hep C is Life or death - ok?

Your docs just covering his *** and probably undermines your hair loss. Ild almost bet he wouldn't hesitate to prescribe you an antidepressant. Best Wishes.

Sorry to come off insensitive about your blood disease. Trust your own instincts if and whenever making any life changing decisions. You know if you decide to trial finasteride. or minoxidil you wont necessarily need to take them at full strength. Many reports of success from users on finasteride in particular have benefited by taking only .25mg. Take care and all the best and don't forget ;you are the boss of your own body.

Thanks - appreciate that. I know it's my body but this Doctor has also pretty much saved my life so I think I'll keep him around. Again - thanks again for the advice.
