I just recieved my order for 4 vials of proxiphen cream, and he'd given me 5! I'd heard about Proctor "throwing in a NANO" or something for people's orders and was jealous, but now I'm glad i've finally experienced it. Each vial costs $100, so i'm pretty happy with him :)

2 - 3 months usually. I'm trying to make each one last 3 every time, but i've been applying it to a dry scalp in (an effort to reduce some of the extra body hair it appears to give me) and that way you need about twice as much. It's so thin, and spreads so incredibly easily on a wet scalp.

I use spironolactone because proxiphen is only applied once per day, and some of the successful spironolactone studies involve the spironolactone being applied three times per day, so I think twice is necessary. However i miss them quite a bit. I usually do proxiphen at night, spironolactone in the mornings.

I don't know why people complain about lee's spironolactone making their hair look bad. My hairline is the sort where the triangle thins out all at once, and you can see the future norwood 2/3 easily. I only apply spironolactone to this "triangle" and i swear it makes this hair look nearly as thick as the hair around it, thus giving me a much better hairline.

So yeah surprisingly enough one of the main reasons i use spironolactone is for cosmetic effect :)

Gotcha. And you don't need Prox-N if you're using Proxiphen right? Proxiphen has everything Prox-N has plus minoxidil spironolactone and phenytoin?

And just to make sure I'm clear, phenytoin is a growth stimulant just like the nano and minoxidil?

thanks.

Yes to all questions.

For the record, the NANO and SODs in proxiphen are also stronger than those in Prox-n.

Yeah, far too expensive. I'm not sure if it's "worth the price" really, i'd never pay $100 a month for it. Its $33 for me since i make it last 3 months.

Also, im hanging out for a year or so, because Proctor says after a year you can cut back to every second day applications. This way its only $200 a year.

However i really need to compare pictures, before i say how it's working.

I would really try and make 1 bottle last for 1 month if I were you. If you are making 1 bottle last for 3 months you better be throwing it in the fridge when not using it. Just a tip.

Why is that? Just because Proctor's leaflet says to use it up every month? On such a small area as im using it i'd be crazy to. It's just so you buy more :p

I do refrigerate my vials, but its just to stop them turning a bit thicker and going brown, which happens after ages. A guy who hadn't used his proxiphen for a year and said it was brown was told by Proctor that "this is fine, the colour changes have nothing to do with efficacy"

Also, a guy pmed me ages ago about his success with proxiphen, and he used a 3rd of a vial each month like me for the first year, then a 6th each month after a year because he used it every other day. I'm sure it's ok
