Dr. Lee

If anyone has checked out my story, I had been using Rogaine foam and also tried the liquid, but I had thought that I had developed severe scalp irritation. Due to the suggestions of a few helpful people on here, I started using Dr. Lee's 5 % solution without PPG. I must say that his product feels alot better and after using it, I get little to no scalp irritation. Plus, it just doesn't sit in my hair, then drip down when I sweat like the stupid foam does. I actually noticed the difference as I apply his product in the morning and I still use rogaine foam at night as I am afraid to totally rid myself of the product. I still get mild itching after using the foam, but no peeled skin or anything severe, I think I was just using it too much and putting too much on.

I am just curious as to why I don't still get irritation with Lee's product, I mean, isn't Rogaine Foam devoid of PPG as well? How come I get irritation with the foam, but not with Doctor Lee's stuff?

It's weird to me :dunno:, just greatful that I have an alternative, I suppose....because the prospect of quitting minoxidil after using it consecutively for 10 months was very scary.....

rogaine foam has less ppg not no ppg, i am always a little suspicous of dr lee because if he is the same dr lee that sells guessometers to paranoid parents then i would want to call him a scammer

Thanks for the clarification, probably could've found that out myself if I looked at the ingredients, huh? :innocent: I myself am skeptical of buying anything online as I never do that (guess I'm old and not "hip" to that)....how can one determine if online products are legit or not? I seriously hope his are because his 5% solution really doesn't irritate my head at all....

The 5% solution that I'm using seems legit, and I checked out the archives section and saw that other forum users have used his stuff successfully....

Ok you've peaked my interest, what is a guessometer. I use the xandrox 15% plus from Doctor lee and I guess i only do because of recommendations from here. I hope it is legit, or else i'm wasting one application a days time putting it on.

I feel more confident about using/ordering his stuff now, I was initially apprehensive because of my former reluctance to order stuff online, thanks for the replies....

PEACE

it's a meter to measure magnetic flux (how strong a magnet is)
his theory is EMFs (aka voltage) induced from background magnetism (which are very small voltages) can cause harm, the fact is if he was a real doctor he might realise MRIs (very big strong magnets) are used quite alot without any harm done
imho only a quack would think of such a con
i mean if you believe him throw away your electric toothbrush charger immediately!

LOL!! You're thinking of a gaussmeter, not a guessometer! A guessometer is an instrument that helps you finish your school exams! :)

Somone UK, I think you're think of a different Dr. Lee.

Dr. Richard Lee, M.D. is a well respected hair loss doctor who runs a private medical practice in Los Angeles, where he sells his own minoxidil compounds.
