Hi everyone!
I am going to start doing finasteride very soon yet I have to cover some related questions.
Firstly, what dosage should I begin with? I've read that it's common to start with 5mg. I know there are a lot of experienced guys here - please let me know why and when I should consider lowering or increasing dosage. Maybe I shouldn't start with 5mg?
Secondly, lots of folks here talk about side effects of finasteride - no morning wood, poor orgasms etc. As soon as I start taking finasteride what effects should I consider as the indication that finasteride isn't working right for me? I heard some of the effects like pain in the balls go away after a couple of weeks, so what should I do if wont go away for a month or so? I am aware that sides are quite rare, but just in case.
Also, I am going to do Dihydrotestosterone, Testosterone and Free Testosterone tests as common sense tells me it would useful. Should I consider any other blood tests as well? When should I take the tests again after I start finasteride so I can see the changes?
And lastly, what brand names should I look for at the drugstore? I am currently in Moscow (Russia), but will be soon travelling in China and Singapore for some time.
