Hello All,

A little info, i'm 24 and just realized i'm thinning at the top and front slightly. I've just had a trim and my barber used thinning shears!! Im planning on going on Finastride as soon my doctor prescribes it. 2 questions.

1- Judging by the level of loss i have already experienced, what dosage of finastride should i be taking.

1. 1mg (1.25mg is fine if you're quartering a pill)
2. We can't tell with your hair at that length. Your hair loss is minimal. You can probably hide it completely with a shorter hair cut. I would recommend cutting your hair short if you plan to use Rogaine (less hair to get caught up in = more into your scalp).

Also, you don't need a perscription for finasteride unless you plan to pay out of your *** for the Propecia brand. Online pharmacies sell generics that don't require a perscription. You can get 4x the medication for 1/4 the price. You just need a $3 pill cutter to quarter the 5mg tablets.
