Dormant phase?

I am almost 3 weeks post op and I have experienced a ton of shedding. I have read that the dormant phase is an average of 3 months?.....I am just curious if that is 3 months from when the hair sheds or 3 months from the surgery?...thanks

Could be either, the biggest thing to remember is dont expect hair at any pre set time its different for everyone and the results take time. With upto 18months for the final results its best not to think about it or scruitinize just let it come. (impossible I know)

I know this dormant phase is the hardest time, but I am just curious as to a best and worst case scenario......

I agree with s.a.f. and also, I know applying minoxidil to the recipient area several weeks after surgery can help with things like shockloss. But as he said it does vary somewhat between patients.
