In this photo and the other ones I took of this date on April 8 you can't even tell I've lost any hair.
This was taken April 8 2014

1 year and 4 months later off of all treatments and look at the bottom of this post!

Very tempted to see if I can get it back. I responded well on propecia. I responded well on minoxidil. Very very curious.

Sigh. Why did I ever quit? I'm bald now. :(

Does anyone out there believe I can get it back without surgery? I'm talking Norwood 3 thick coverage...

If you jump on the big three and respond well you might be able to get some hair back. Even if you only maintained on the big 3 it would be worth it because you could get a solid hair transplant in the future.
Honestly just give the big three a chance and see what happens

No. It's too late for me. The real issue im facing is that I wish I was 21 again. I'm 30. It's time for me to focus on the next chapter of my life and leave the young care free days behind me.

I don't think minoxidil and finasteride is going to get me a satisfying amount of hair back. The treatments worked really well for me but I think it was because I started early.

I'm noticing I only care about my hair when my hair starts to get long. I'm three weeks without a haircut now and am obsessing over it. I think I need to buzz it with a number 1 every week. Then I won't care about the drastic changes in my ap

But please for the guys still with hope out there. Don't wait till it's too late. Get on it right away. Having hair is awesome. Defeating something like hair loss is one of the greatest feelings you can have. And you can do it with only taking a vitamin pm everyday. It's amazing!

well dude if you dont decide to get back on, you had a good run man. for what its worth id consider my story a success if finasteride can save me till im 30. Im sure it still sucks but dude, u made it through your prime with finasteride, i know 30's and early 40's are enjoyable but you're going against 40% of the 30-40's who are bald just like you. imagine me, i walked into my college class today and everyone had hair! i do too still have a solid nw2.5 but **** if i wasnt on and off treatments the past year id be FAR WORSE, to the point of having to shave. the worst i saw in my class was 1 dude who had the most minor crown thinning!

Yeah, I was beyond obsessive with observing peoples hair in college. I even think I can recognize when people start treatments since then. I really don't know how common it is for men to be taking it though?

Surgery is absolutely 100 percent out of the question.

The first photos were what my hair used to be... Before I quit rogaine and nizoral. That was 2.5 years off finasteride. Yes. I kept my hair that long even after quitting finasteride.
