Many bald spots?

Is your pattern similar to the ones displayed in a Norwood chart?

It is hard to tell from these images, but if I was to guess I would say you are a NW3, maybe NW4 at the most. , but no more than that.

you just may have some slight diffuse thinning. your hairline, howver, is still a NW1, if you got all your density back (which there is a good chance you may do), then i wouldnt dare say your were thinning, never mind balding in certain spots.

most people on this forum would not consider you balding at all.

. and it's hard to tell how bad your thinning with hair that short. doesnt look bad at all though.

OK, maybe a NW4 to possible NW5 but certainly no more than that.

There are several things you can do.

You are probably a little too young for propecia so you could use a topical antiandrogen and Nizoral shampoo for starters and-if things do not change- topical minoxidil as a growth stimulant.

(Dawn is that you?)

It is hard to see from the photos, could you see your way to taking an in focus picture, this would help a lot.

From the images you have show us, I can see zero thinning, but that may be the poor quality.

At your age it is unwise to start medications like finasteride as your hormonal development may not yet be complete.

I hesitate to recommend any medications at you age untill you show us you scalp in focus.

It's hard to tell from those pictures, especially with your hair so short. As you are still pretty young and have no male pattern baldness in your family it will be best to see your doctor to have it checked out. Grow your hair a little longer first so you can see the balding patches better. If you are lucky it might just be temporary alopecia.
