Does your propecia pill have a sweet taste when you chew it?

I am currently on prescription propecia (finsateride 1mg). Well, today out of boredom I decided to bite the pill in half and chew on it a bit. What I noticed is a slightly sweet taste with a hint of bitterness afterwards.

Did anyone else try to taste their propecia pill? Is it supposed to have a slightly sweet taste?


Or did my pharmacy/doctor put me in a placebo study without my knowledge? I am probably over-thinking things...

And THIS right here is why so many people think that they have sides. Not because they chew their pills, but because they LOOK for something to be wrong.

Why is the response "It's sweet...I wonder if it's a fake!?!?!!??!" instead of "It's sweet. That's cool." ? Because people, by and large, seek out negative things before the positive ones.

I think the taste of your pill is dependent on what filler is used. So it varies from brand to brand.
