Does Where You Put Regaine Affect The Rate Of Growth?

hey all, I’ve been using regaine (regaine is the Australian name for rogaine) for about 9 months now. I’ve seen some good results, but lately I have been using it more on my frontal/hairline as I’m losing hair there, my question is:

If you’re putting regaine on a different spot on your head that didn’t normally have it, will the same process happen on that specific spot? (Ie the initial hair loss before regrowth) I’ve noticed I’ve started thinning in the front but there are long hairs on the side of my hairline ( as in the top corners of the V)

I might go see a dermatologist but thought I’d ask here first. As I am not sure if I’m just losing hair or if this is the process of initial shedding

For context here are some images, I see tiny hairs on the the middle part of my hair but I am not sure if these are regrowth or just me losing hair. Any info would be great because I’m deciding wether it’s time to just shave it all off or not haha

If you put minoxidil on areas not thinning it may help keep them healthy. But definitely put it where its needed. Also if you put it on healthy hair it will not become minoxidil dependent. So there is no harm putting it wherever you want. Cheers
