Hi all

I recently started working a full time job (9-5).
I've been having terrible sleep and sleeping 4-5 hours a night and haven't been exercising.
I feel absolutely fucked, like i have low testosterone.
Can't concentrate, can't think straight, low sex drive etc.

I've noticed all of a sudden my hair seems to be shedding more. My hair also seems to be getting thinner.
It's funny i always thought low testosterone might reduce the speed of hair loss but i think it's the opposite.

Is this hair loss i'm experiencing temporary or am i speeding up my male pattern baldness?

I had chronic fatigue that caused hair loss, which unfortunately never fully recovered so yes it can accelerate hair loss. In fact in the two periods in my life where I've experience significant hair loss it has been during stressful times.

The most important thing is to get out of your funk, are you doing enough physical activity?

Yeah. Hair loss is a hormonal condition and anything that messes up your hormones can accelerate it. Temporary hair loss due to stress is very rare, it mostly affects women during or after pregnancy.

Hey man thanks for the response

It sucks mine (our) hair is so sensitive to hormonal changes. I feel like my hair has visibly gotten thinner within a month! :(
Yea i haven't been able to exercise much because i've been so tired. I also work in a pretty anti social environment and i've been drinking a lot of coffee. My cortisol levels are probably through the roof.
