Does spironolactone or beta sitosterol reduce body hair/sebum more?

Have any posters on here tested topical beta sitosterol and topical spironolactone on the scalp or on body hair, or on sebum production? Which is stronger? I know the homemade beta sitosterol vehicle used plays a big role. You can buy the beta sitosterol at pure bulk dot com, 100g for $11. For experimental purposes, not infringement of the Japanese patent.

Micheal Barry just compared beta sitosterol to revivogen, but those are apples and oranges. Actually he just tested pine oil, which has 10-19% beta sitosterol. So who knows how effective the vehicle was.

I never got it. I can get it cheap and pure in bulk, but i read it is waxy and hard to dissolve. And I can't find anything definitive saying what hormonal effects it might have, if any.

I wish I knew if it upregulates aromatase, upregulates estrogen receptors, is a 5ar inhibitor, is an androgen receptor blocker, is an estrogen, or none of the above.

MB applied some pine oil, which has a lot of betasitosterol in it, to his hairy wrist, and it reduced the hair growth, quite noticeably, but not enough to impress him. Who knows how it worked. Maybe even an depilatory.
