Does sebum halters the absorption minoxidil

I've read about products that claim to stop sebum from haltering the absorption of minoxidil.
But does sebum significantly keeps minonxidil from absorbing succesfully or is this just BS from :jackit: :jackit: :jackit: trying to make a profit?

I was doing great on minoxidil until scalp started becoming oily..

Nothing changed, then bam.. hair started shedding

Even when my scalp started becoming oily.. I kept thinkin.. sh*t I hope this doesn't stop the minoxidil reaching the follicle nucleus..
