Does Rogaine Foam Work As a Styling Mousse/Gel?

I've looked high and low for info on this and can't seem to find a clear answer. Does Rogaine Foam work as a styling mousse? I mean can you actually style your hair with it, or is it just meant as a leave in scalp treatment by itself?

I'm not using it yet, but I may in the near future, and I'm looking for "hair loss safe" styling options.

I find that it does work as a mousse type of product. Obviously you're supposed to get as much of it as you can to the scalp, but if you have diffuse thining (like myself), then a lot of it will reach the hair too. If this happens, you can style it like mousse. Also, make sure to buy the stuff online where you can get it for as cheap as $15 and not for $35 the way it is in supermarkets, total ripoff.

No, you're supposed to apply it to ur scalp as a treatment, not a styling product. Some of it will stay on ur hair but I dont think its meant for styling.

not suppose to apply the foam into the hair, just the scalp

i suppose you obviously will apply some into the hair
in your attempt to reach the scalp

you would be wasting you money using it in your hair

i believe shaving foam would create a similar effect (in moderation)

interesting question though
